I was eager to try out there food and patronize a black owned family operated business. I have patronized this business twice already and plan to head there again tonight as I have been viewing there social media and see they know have alcoholic beverages. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful, food is well prepared, the service is exceptional. I would say make sure you try the Rasta pasta flat bread I know it's carbs on carbs, but it's definitely worth a cheat meal on your diet!
I'm looking forward to the progression over the next few months and years to come. I would highly recommend this place for a cute date, dinner, or brunch with the girls!
See all photos from Sha'velle D. Our reservation was on time, and while we were waiting - there frozen tropical and mango drinks kept us cool.
The food and drink were amazing and creative!!! I loved their flatbreads - Especially the Rasta Pasta Flatbread, it's a must!!! The service was Amazing, and will be travel here again before the weather changes!!!! It's definitely the new hot spot on Kent. Very friendly staff. Menu even includes vegan options. There's a long line if you don't. I hope they'll be ok this winter, it gets cold by the water. Kokomo is a vibe. I love Caribbean food but I love when establishments such as Kokomo are creative when it comes to the experience they want diners to have.
I love the beach atmosphere they set up outdoors and when I went inside it looks pretty cozy too. For starters I had the fish tacos and my friend had glazed wings. The glazed wings were portioned well, however the fish tacos came with two tacos I do feel like the pieces could have been bigger. This their version of Rasta pasta in my opinion but instead they used pappardelle pasta instead of penne which I normally see.
I must say I actually preferred that. Diners make note that if you order it with chicken it comes on the bone. Kokomo is a vibe y'all. If you haven't gone yet go visit. See all photos from Tynea P.
